I would like to Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. My name is Elkin, my major is Journalism, this is my last semester at Laguardia. I'm so happy to be where I'm at right now, because Laguardia is been a great learning experience in every possible way, I am planning to transfer to Hunter college. As a journalism major I have taken many many english classes such as, ENG 101-103, followed by ENG 210, 211 and now taking ENG 274. It was a little bit overwhelming at times, but when I see the improvements that I have made I feel like the hard work is paying off. From each class I have learned something new and interesting that inspire my curiosity about new things. So far the class that I loved the most was ENG 103, I had to write a lot, but I got to choose the topic that I want to do research about, and do a very deep research about it before I even write a sentence. It was a very helpful class.
I have never done fiction - non fiction writing that is the reason why I'm exited about this new challenge with this class. However, I remember I read a lot of poetry when I took the class ENG 102, and I had to write my critique about it. It was very fun!
